Covid-19 Safety Procedures

Ventilation Equipment:

​

• Our building HVAC unit was upgraded to meet safety standards.  All units have MERV13 filtration installed.

• The HVAC unit will continually pump and circulate fresh air throughout the building.

• In addition to the HVAC unit and the MERV13 filters -- we also have stand alone medical grade HEPA13 filtration units inside every classroom.  These units are powerful enough to circulate the air in the entire room every 15 minutes.

Mask Wearing Guidelines:

​

• All dancers, parents/guardians, and staff members must be wearing a face mask at all times when inside our building regardless of vaccination status. 

• We will make sure to give the dancers enough water breaks during their lessons.

• Instructors will adjust their lesson plans to never have the students reach full cardiac exertion so that they can feel comfortable dancing in a mask.

Dance Studio Capacity:

​

• Based off the size of the room and making sure each dancer has 6 feet of space around them, here is the max student number -- 12 dancers and 1 instructor in Studio A, 10 Dancers and 1 instructor in Studio B, 8 dancers and 1 instructor in Studio C.

• All family members are encouraged to drop off and return, or wait outside in their cars.

• Waiting areas are only open to parents of children under the age of 5, or to parents of children with a special need.

• Please do not arrive early to eliminate any unnecessary waiting around.

• Students who take multiple classes will wait in their classroom for the next class to begin.

Cleaning and Sanitizing:

​

• All high touch items will be sanitized at the end of each day.  This includes (but not limited to) door handles, stair case railings, and the dance floors themselves.

• The restroom will be cleaned and sanitized at the end of each day.

• There will be hand sanitizer available in the common areas and classrooms.

• Anti-Bacterial hand soap will be available in the restroom.

• All students must wash their hands or use hand sanitizer before entering the dance room.

Health Screening:

​

• All staff members have been fully vaccinated.

• If a staff member or student tests positive for COVID all dance families who were a close contact will be notified immediately.

• Students who seem symptomatic will be dismissed immediately.  A family member will be contacted for immediate pick up.  The dance studio will be sanitized from top to bottom and all classmates family members will be contacted and made aware.

Virtual Access:

​

• Dance classes may be taken over ZOOM per individual request.  If you require virtual classes please contact our office to set this up.

• If your child needs to miss class due to quarantine please contact our office so that you may take class from home.
