NO REGULAR CLASSES ----- School Vacation Week
Final Costume Payments:
Beginning next week you will be getting a letter sent home with your child. It will show the remaining balance due on your spring recital costume. I did keep the prices as low as possible. Please make these final payments before March 1st.
Dance Shoe Swap
Is your child out growing their dance shoes???? We will be having a dance shoe swap during the week of February 27th - March 3rd. Bring us your used dance shoes that no longer fit and swap them for a gently used pair of shoes in a larger size. No need to purchase brand new shoes half way through the year! You may do this during your normal class times.
February Vacation Dance Camp
Looking for something fun for your kids to do during school vacation week???
Sign them up for Vacation Dance Camp!!!
A typical day includes 2 or 3 dance classes, arts and crafts, games, lunch, a dance related movie, outdoor play if weather permits.
Choose 1, 2, or 3 days to attend
Tuesday Feb. 21st
Wednesday Feb. 22nd
Thursday Feb. 23rd
9am - 12pm for Half Day
9am - 2pm for Full Day
$30 per half day // $40 per full day
Make-up Class Policy
We have a very generous make-up policy. If you miss your regular class, you may come to any other class on the schedule to make it up, provided it is age appropriate - even if it is marked full. The only requirement is to give your child’s name to Kristen or the teacher and let them know you are there for a make-up class.
Snow Days
We would like to remind you that we follow the Newton public school system cancellation policy. If there is no school, there is no dance! For storms that start later in the day or on Saturday, please check our website, Facebook page, or voicemail for details.

Monthly Tuition Payments
All tuition payments are made monthly. Payments must be received by the 15th of the month.
If, after the 15th, we have not received your payment, you will be charged a $10 late fee
Students may sign up at any time and drop out of class at any time. As long as we know by the first of the month you will not be charged.
To make a payment you can set up an automatic payment by credit or debit card each month. Please see our desk to set this up or to find out how to pay online. If you have signed up for automatic withdrawal from your credit card, those debits will occur on the 1st of every month.
Or you may pick up a payment booklet at the desk. There are 9 envelopes in which you can mail a check to the studio each month.
Dress Code
A reminder to all parents and students to follow the dress code. As we get further into the season the teachers are finding a lot of baggy t-shirts and sweatpants on the age 8 and older crowd. Although we do not have a strict dress code, we do ask that all dancers 8 and older wear tight fitting tops and tight fitting pants to class with their hair pulled back.
Another important point is – Please do NOT wear your dance shoes outside.

Dance Shoe Policy!
Please remind your dancers that they MUST have proper dance shoes on their feet for ALL dance classes!! Our wood dance floor can be very slippery with socks or tights on your feet and can cause you to slip and injure yourself. ALL dancers must have dance shoes, or completely bare feet. NO EXCEPTIONS! If a child comes to class in with tights or socks on their feet, we will ask them to remove them or they must sit out of class for their own safety.
(lyrical and modern classes may wear toe undies)
